I have traveled throughout the world for pleasure as well as to participate in military operations. The single most recurring fact that is reaffirmed with travel is we are all humans! In the end we want the same things in our daily lives.
I am fortunate to be US based. Even I am puzzled about the processes of US Immigration. Upon returning from recent travels a little tired and cranky after an international flight I find myself thankful to be able to route myself into the US Citizen Queue. It seems long but then I gaze into the eyes of fellow passengers who stepped into an even longer line for non-US Citizens.
It is not even close to the Ellis Island experience which has resulted in such huge rewards to the US, but, the issues of illegal immigration, immigration reform, filling out the correct immigration forms and even migrating to our northern neighbor for Canadian Immigration is a maze!
